A Carrera Champion’s Car for Sale
1954 Studebaker Commander - $130,000 US
A Proven Winner, La Carrera Panamerican 2008.
--all steel body BLACK, but will be painted to color of your choice
--6 liter Small Block Chevy engine - 540 HP @ 7100 RPM, 0 time on rebuild

This was the fastest car in the 2008 La Carrera, but it has been improved. After winning the Carrera, the car was rebuilt and improved with the intention of returning in 2009 to defend the championship. It is now faster, more durable, and more comfortable than in 2008. Unforeseen events have caused me to offer it for sale.

SECOND CAR -- GULF COLORS
’53 Studebaker – #114, 2nd overall, La Carrera Panamericana 2009
This car is seriously fast, as proven by results 2009 where it finished 2nd overall, just behind 1984 WRC Champion Stig Blomqvist and Ana Goni. This car had several stage wins with the quickest times, including winning the last day of competition overall in same time as Doug Mockett and Angelica Fuentes.
The car has been campaigned since 2006 in La Carrera and Chihuahua Express, always upgraded to latest specs and maintained by Hammarlund Racing in Mexico, regardless of cost.

This is an easy and quick way to get into the magic of racing La Carrera Panamericana in a highly competitive, battle-tested package.
