F/S 1959 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Vintage Race Car

This beautiful, historically significant Lotus is in race ready condition, having most recently competed in the 2009 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.  It has also been run in several other vintage races.  VSCCA logbook available. Currently fitted with a Hewlett 5 speed transaxle for reliability but the original Renault box with close ratio gears will go along with the car.   Engine was recently rebuilt by MWE. Some other spare parts are included as well.  Excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically with just the right amount of patina.  Finished in classic Lotus livery, BRG with yellow stripe & wheels, gorgeous red leather seat and steering wheel.
