1971 Alfa Romeo GTV / GTAm (AutoDelta Spec track / street - show car) For Sale

This GTAm started life as a 1971 GTV and after a 3 year restoration that was completed in April 2008 she is now a Autodelta spec GTAm track/show and street legal tribute car. She has an European Twin-Spark 2L motor and race suspension, fuel cell, roll cage and racing harnesses, and much more. Spartan interior but everything to make her street legal. Entered her in two shows in 2008 and she took two Best in Class titles. For more on the car and loads of pics visit: www.AlfaRomeoGTAm.blogspot.com Call for Price.

Beautiful, beautiful car JP. Where did you find the fender flares?

John
Al Leake (d. Feb 2008) had a restoration shop for Alfa's ONLY. He restored all types of Alfas and race prepped as well. Mostly constructed racing cars (www.alfaromeorestorations.com was his website, down now after his death). He had a business in the past with plastic mold infusion and created these fender flares and plastic air intakes for restoration purposes. Not sure where you can get them anymore... my impression was he used the last set on my car and another fellow's vehicle in Canada (that did not finish the restoration). Additional pics from the inside truck space (how the fenders look from the inside).
