THE CRAIC
We invite you to join us on this exploration of the British Isles, where we visit ancient monuments, historic settlements and the very best that nature can offer – for example, the Giant’s Causeway. The competition has been designed for fun and not difficulty. The roads are not car damaging or rough, but we are sure you will enjoy the drive. You will visit private estates where well thought out driving tests will be held and Regularities will be held over scenic terrain that is not normally seen by the average tourist and all of it held in daylight. We have enjoyed working on the Grand Britannic Trial and now it is your turn to enjoy it, even if it is “just for the Craic!”
THEMED NIGHTS
As you pass through the various regions, you will be treated to local cuisine at themed evening dinners. For example, enjoy a Celtic night and Twmpath in Wales, and a ceilidh and piping in the haggis with traditional Gaelic dancing in Scotland. Some evenings will be free for you to choose what you want to do – an opportunity to find that nice restaurant or to settle down for an early night!
WHO CAN ENTER and HOW?
Anyone can enter as long as you have a car that is registered as being pre 1983. Places will be limited to 120 crews, in order to guarantee a wonderful experience to every entrant. The entry list opens on the 1st June 2009, so, do not delay your entry as we expect demand to be high. To request an entry, just fill in the application form attached or download it from www.grand-britannic.com and send it to the Event Office with the full entry fee – apply now to avoid disappointment.
