At 09:00 am the "Chihuahua Express" will begin (competitors will depart in one minute intervals) from central Chihuahua City (next to the Government Palace, the Independence column and Pancho Villa´s statue -Picture on the homepage-), heading north to the city of "Madera", through woods and small ravines. Four speed stages are planned (there will not be a speed stage at the racetrack). Arriving in Madera for service, lunch, and then return to Chihuahua City by the same route and the same speed stages. Arrive into Chihuahua City at around 17:00 hr. Drivers' meeting for results and awards (medals) for the day in the hotel at 20:00 hr.
Saturday, March the 28th (Day 2):
At 08:00 am we depart from the Westin Soberano hotel, but now heading west into the impressive Copper canyon, to "El Divisadero" station. The route goes through wooded roads (uphill without dangerous ravines), through five speed stages. Service and lunch at Divisadero with the splendid canyon views and then back to Chihuahua city, down the same road into the Westin Soberano hotel. Results and awards (medals) for the day at 20:00 hr. in the hotel.
Sunday, March the 29th (Day 3):
At 09:00 am depart from the same plaza as the first day, but this time heading east to the city of Ojinaga, across the border from Presidio, Texas (we do not cross the border), through the "Peguis" canyon through four speed stages (with some ravines, clearly marked on the Route book). Service and lunch at Ojinaga, and then return to Chihuahua City by the same road (up and downhill), to the same plaza were we started this day.
Results and awards for the day (medals) and final trophies will be given at 18:00 hr. at a place to be announced, near by.
A shorter and less twisty road to Ojinaga (and back) is usable for service vehicles.
It is possible, if necessary, to take a plane back home that evening, or take it easy and go back on Monday.
