Can-Am 50th Anniversary Mini Challenge Race

The 50th Anniversary Can-Am Mini Challenge Race will be held June 27th & 28th, 2009 at Brainerd International Raceway, Brainerd, MN. Anticipated to be the largest gathering of racing Minis in North America, the event will celebrate the Mini’s extraordinary contribution and racing success over the last 50 years, with an event theme of “Can-Am” in recognition of racers on both sides of the border. Race-prepared Minis from every era and level of performance are invited, including Mini based variants, lightweight one-off specials, and the radical GT5 cars. Everything from mild to wild! Brainerd Int. Raceway is ideally suited to host the event, offering a newly reconfigured 2.5 mile road circuit and extensive onsite facilities for racers. There will be a Golden Jubilee commemorative group photo and event program, sponsor prizes, and special awards for class and overall winners.
