The Concours d'Elegance, or Concours, is the first major competitive event of the 54th Porsche Parade. Beautiful cars and wonderful people will not only be competing with their Porsches, but will also be the opportunity, if not wanting to compete, to display their cars in the Concours Corral.

The 2009 Parade Concours d'Elegance will be held on the fairways of the Keystone Ranch Golf Course located very close to the Keystone Resort on Tuesday, June 30th at 9:00 AM.

Entrants will be bringing their cars from all over the United States and Canada as well as many parts of the world. Prior to all of the excitement of the Concours, the cars must be prepared for competition. Our Concours Prep area will provide a safe and secure place for this action to take place.

Our Concours Prep Chairs will endeavor to support members and make the preparation area as positive and fun a place for you to work and to visit while getting ready to present your prize possession in the Concours.

The "Heritage and Historic Car Display" at the 2009 Porsche Parade will be presenting an array of special race and low-production Porsche models from all over the country and from Porsche itself. This could be your once-in-a-lifetime experience to admire some of the most unusual Porsches in the world.

Only the Porsche registered for Parade by the entrant may compete in the Concours or be displayed in the Paddock/Corral.

Porsches participating in the Paddock/Corral will be placed on the field on Monday, June 29th, the afternoon before the Tuesday Concours. Pre-staging will take place in the Lower Tenderfoot Lot at 4:00 p.m. Monday. Cars will move out to the Concours site at 5:30 p.m. No one will be allowed to stage in the Paddock/Corral on Tuesday. Logistics will not allow all cars to move up the hill on Tuesday morning. There will be constant shuttle bus service back down the hill in time for the Welcome Party, Monday evening and back up to the site on Tuesday. Security police are on the site all night.

The Heritage & Historic Cars: These cars will move up the hill to the Concours site on Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m. Heritage and Historic cars will be unloaded from their trailers at the site, the tow rigs will be driven back down the hill to park until 3:00 p.m. there is very limited space to park them at the site.

Judged Concours entrant Porsches will be placed on the field Tuesday morning, the day of the concours. Pre-staging is at 5:30 a.m. in the LowerTenderfoot Lot.

All Paddock/Corral and Concours cars will be required to drive the 3.7 miles from the Lower Tenderfoot Lot staging area to the display area. Cars in these two categories may not be trailered or towed to the display area. There will be no exceptions.
