The 3rd Annual Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance at the Rose Bowl and adjacent Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena on June 1, 2008.

The 3rd Annual Los Angeles Concours d’Elegance was presented by Assistance League of Southern California on June 1, 2008, at the Rose Bowl and adjacent Brookside Golf Course and featured 350 extraordinary automobiles in elegant condition.

The Best in Show Prewar trophy winner was given to the 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS from the Nethercutt Collection, and the Best in Show Postwar trophy went to the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham owned by Ken Smith of La Jolla.

Thousands of auto enthusiasts, friends, guests and press viewed automobiles dating back to 1904 that included horseless carriages, European and American classics from the 20s, 30s and 40s, muscle cars of the 50s and 60s, European sports cars, exotic cars—including a large display of Ferraris, hot rods and race cars.

Concours celebrated the 100th Anniversay of General Motors by including two classes of Prewar and Postwar Cadillac, GM's first model. Expert judges selected first, second and third place winners among 38 classes. On display were Rita Hayworth's 1941 Cadillac Coupe, a 1931 Cadillac V16 Paheton and a 1957 Cadillac El Dorado.

Proceeds from the Concours benefit more than 100,000 individuals served each year through the eight services of Assistance League of Southern California (ALSC), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 1919, providing a variety of programs that enable individuals with critical needs to lead independent, productive lives.
