Johnson returns to the Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series Street Tuner division in 2008 as a member of RSR Motorsports, which fields Mini Cooper S cars.
Johnson, nicknamed “Boo-Boo,” works for software giant VMware and also owns a Cold Stone Creamery in Laveen, Ariz. He enjoys spending time at home with his wife and their Labrador Retriever.
Racing History
2007
Competed in KONI Challenge ST with RSR Motorsports. Won Firebird Enduro in NASA/AZ PTC and placed in top three in every start. Finished second in ASA/ProAutosports in Mini Cooper, and earned 3.9 rating at Bob Bondurant Racing School in Advanced Road Racing class.
2006
Won overall in NASA/AZ PTC Firebird Enduro and finished second in NASA/AZ PTC at Phoenix. Finished in top five in every start.
2005
Debuted in racing, placing fifth in first race.
