Profile Information

About Me:: was born into a motorsport loving family! I have been racing since I was four-years old, competing in motocross, gymkhana, trials and enduro on bikes and raced cars including a race winning stint in the Australian Formula Ford Championship, right though to rallying a classic Porsche 911 in the Targa Tasmania. I have a passion for riding, driving and everything motorsport related. I can’t get enough of it. I have worked at numerous motoring titles including Autosport in the United Kingdom and Auto Action, Motor and Australian Motorcycle News in Australia.

What car(s) do you own?: Oh this is embarrassing at the moment. An Audi V6 and a Subaru Outback 3.0R. As soon as the kids get a bit older it will all change again. Oh, I do own 5 motorcycles!

What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?: At the moment I am a spectator at Vintage race meetings, but I have competed in the Targa Tasmania and I ride my bikes in Vintage MX, and Trials meetings. I get my kicks by publishing a website celebrating motorsport from the 60s 70s and 80s called www.MotorSportRetro.com

What clubs do you belong to?: Porsche Club of NSW (australia)

What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?: Publish my website

Brazilian Formula 1 superstar Ayrton Senna would have been 50 years old last week.

The triple world champion exploded onto the Formula 1 scene during his well documented test with Williams in 1983 and enchanted, shocked and inspired us over 161 races until his fatal crash during the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.
