Hi Julie, Maybe you could help. I'm researching history on my old Triumph. Would you know of a resource or organization in Britain I could contact? We have Carfax here in the states, its a resource that you can use to find a vehicle's history before you purchase. It only has info for cars back to early '80s. Any thoughts would be helpful.

When you mentioned Vitesse, I pictured a Herald. Were these similar models? I'm learning a little more about Triumphs other than the TR sports cars.
Have you been doing any good drives in your Alfa? I had my old BMW out for some country driving this weekend, very good for the soul.

Nice looking Spider! It's cool to see how Alfa has evolved over the years. We haven't had them here in the states since the 1990's.
They had a bad reputation for reliability, however I had a friend with a Spider from the '70s and it was a tough little car.
