Hi we did the hillclimb there last week ..1st run was pretty ordinary --learning the track --2nd practise run was poor -the Fiat not running good ---got back to paddock and found a brocken collet on no 2 valve- fixed that or so we thought with a picture frame hanger !!! of course that broke too now then- we came up with a brain wave-Pat, my better half suggested using the end off her tweezers---Bingo that did the trick-- but then the durn thing wouldn't start with only a few minutes to go to my… Continue

Good Morning Brian:
Thank you for the birthday wishes, I appreciate it.
This should be a good week, two training sessions for the 2010 Track Staff at Miller Motorsports Park and hopefully we start racing with an open track day March 27.
Thanks again.
John

Unfortunately I dont know anyone with a Jag. (I do know someone with a good replica Porsche speedster body!)
I appreciate the work thats undoubtedly been done, but I think the problem you're up against is the original stuff thats out there. I've just driven a virtually concours Mk1 (with a few engine tweaks) in coventry for £7k. I've also seen an A1 Mk3 in Herefordshire for £6k!
Have you got the original interior?

Brian,
How did you come the value of £10,500. The car looks fabulous, but that price is extremely high for a GT6?
thanks

Hi Brian, thanks very much for the shoes, I am delighted. They are red, just like your cars! I guess we have been at the time same place in 1988 or 1990, if a Jaguar won. I have attended Le Mans every year since 1977, I used to live near Paris at that time, now I live just one hour from Le Mans and I have got press accreditation since 1997. this year I wrote reports for three magazines and four issues following the race. I have always wished to go to Sebring, hopefully one of the teams I work for may go someday to take part in the great 12-hour race...

Brian - thanks for the note. Just got baclk from lots of travel but did manage to see some CanAm cars this weekend at PIR for the HSR-West event. You are right - the big blocks have a vertain allure that is hard to replicate ! Cheers Jim

Brian, I don't believe I have any, but I will look. I sold the car to a friend after I was hit by a small truck in it... I sold him that car, a parts car and another GT6+ that I was going to do a resto on. I believe he also has another (front end) wrecked GT6+ and a complete but apart Mk III. All of those cars are located in Niagara Falls NY. Cheers, Sean

Thanks, Brian! I appreciate the nice comment. Actually, the wheels are the "Minator" brand and they are a lot safer than the old wire wheels that were on the car. I, too, am a fan of Triumphs, especially Spitfires and GT6s!!!!
